This is a small collage measuring 6.5 x 8 inches, attached to a black box frame, wired and ready to hang.
Living in the desert, we are always waiting for the next rain and it is always welcome when it comes. It is a climate of extremes but the creatures and plants are well adapted and the Sonoran Desert is full of life. At this time of year, spring, vultures are returning and are impressive flyers, wings outspread and taking advantage of the wind. This piece contains a powerful image of the vulture, colors of the desert sky and land and the remnant of bone. It is a three dimensional piece with the bone resting on the inside of the frame. The second photo shows the image in process, before the frame and bone were attached. The other materials consist of recycled papers and vintage images.
The art is coated with matte acrylic to preserve its integrity.

I carefully select the frames for my artwork based on the size, subject matter and the colors in the piece to be framed. The frames themselves are usually contemporary and of excellent quality. If a buyer decides they do not like the frame or would prefer a different color or style, it is their responsibility to take the artwork to a framer and have it changed to their liking.
Take a photo of the framed artwork, showing the damage and a photo of the packing material including the box. Email me with attached photos of the damage. I will refund my cost for the frame, provide you with the link to my frame supplier so you can verify the cost and I will refund the cost of the frame.
