Where I live in the Sonoran desert, water comes from underground aquifers and of course, from the direction of water flowing from the great mountains of the West into rivers and canals to settled areas. I have lived in Colorado and it was always good and hopeful to see snow on the mountains because that meant water in the coming year.
"Mountains and Rivers" is a collage on board, using hand-dyed and handmade papers. I imagined the mountains feeding all the rivers that flow south, east and west from the snow held in their slopes and crevasses. Using blues, grays and earth colors, it sets a cool yet active image telescoped into a watershed of many streams and rivers.
The actual collage is 19 x 33 inches and is framed in a soft, mottled gold, modern frame of excellent quality. The overall size is 21 x 35 inches. It would be shipped padded and boxed securely with insurance. This item has been reduced in price.

I carefully select the frames for my artwork based on the size, subject matter and the colors in the piece to be framed. The frames themselves are usually contemporary and of excellent quality. If a buyer decides they do not like the frame or would prefer a different color or style, it is their responsibility to take the artwork to a framer and have it changed to their liking.
Take a photo of the framed artwork, showing the damage and a photo of the packing material including the box. Email me with attached photos of the damage. I will refund my cost for the frame, provide you with the link to my frame supplier so you can verify the cost and I will refund the cost of the frame.
