This artwork is a unique piece, that is, only one print is made using a monoprinting technique. I used oil-based inks on 100% cotton rag paper, employing stencils and adding and taking away layers of colored inks to make the petals and leaves. The art measures 25 H x 17.5 W. It is framed under plexiglass in a silver frame and is ready to hang. Not many still lifes are created these days but I do appreciate them and this one makes a statement - that classic designs can be updated to contemporary methods and images.

The image of flowers in a blue vase is left open to interpretation - are the flowers outside the window frame or inside? It is a large piece of art and would look best in a fairly large, simplified space.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if upon receiving an artwork, I do not like the frame or it does not go with my decor?

I carefully select the frames for my artwork based on the size, subject matter and the colors in the piece to be framed. The frames themselves are usually contemporary and of excellent quality. If a buyer decides they do not like the frame or would prefer a different color or style, it is their responsibility to take the artwork to a framer and have it changed to their liking.

What if the artwork itself arrives safely but the frame has been damaged?

Take a photo of the framed artwork, showing the damage and a photo of the packing material including the box. Email me with attached photos of the damage. I will refund my cost for the frame, provide you with the link to my frame supplier so you can verify the cost and I will refund the cost of the frame.
